How play battlefield 3 and more precisely how not to get killed?

I know it's a silly question, but recently killed me 10 times but I managed only one hit.

I managed to get some flags, and several assists.

Are there any tips for beginners?

And one more question how to fly airplanes, I learned that I'm rather bad pilot, though it turned out that I'm not a bad shooter, I managed to kill several enemies with the gun mounted in the helicopter.

the key to bf3 is team work, get a good clan. im not telling you mine because it sounds like you suck, so join someone elses clan.





first, pick a class and stick with it.

each class plays distinctly differently, if your a medic, be a medic, drop med kits everywhere you go, unlock the paddles and never leave spawn without them. the weapons here are not great so its more about supporting your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.



engineers need to play a bit more riskily, if its your job to take out the tank, get out there and take it out, take a look at your guns, shot guns, sub machine guns, shorter less accurate assult rifles, this is the more close quarters class, consider the flashlight or laser. use the holographic or red dot but NOT the scope. don't worry about scopeing in all the time, its fine to blast from the hip. but you also have the repair kit, if you in a helicopter, sit in the side seat and repair it as it gets shot. remember, with your repair kit its more about supporting your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.



snipers are ranged specialists, don't forget to press "back" on your controller to spot tanks, jets, jeeps, helicopters and every enemy you see. a head shot will kill but there is no point in revealing your poession just to suppress one guy, get on the mic and tell your team mates where he is and where he is going, but its all about range, keep some space between you and your targets, your job is to spot and shoot from a distance so thats how you support your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.



lastly is support, i hope you get the message, they have the most powerful guns so you might be tempted to run out alone, don't. you have the all important ammo box, medics, snipers and especially engineers will all run out of ammo as long as you can keep alive long enough to use it. you have a powerful gun but you are also slower, louder and easier to spot then the medic or recon, its all in the name your there to support your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.



if you run out alone like in cod, you, and your team, will die and fail. use teamwork and commutation adn you will kill everyone.



its possible to level up to about level 7 in a week barely shooting anyone. just team work, team work, team work. if you can't join a clan and you don't have a mic and the team is not playing as a team there is still something you can do, try and join the player in 1st's squad, if he is 40 and 15, then he will need a revive, if he is 40 and 1 he will need ammo, if he is 40 and 1 and a support, he will need a spotter.



also there's coop, but above all, support your team and don't run off alone like in cod, you will just get shot.
Half of everything here is wrong. You can tell he doesn't know much about BF3 because he calls the Recon kit "sniper", and says "pick a class and stick with it" when in fact everyone I know with a SPM (score per minute) over 500 (including myself) have at least 1 star in every kit.

starting out on BF3 use the assault or engineer specialization. be the F**king new guy, sit in a corner close to the objectives, its really stupid but games like battlefield if you dont get the first hit on a guy and he gets it on you, your pretty much dead. stick with the assault or engineer if you keep changing you'll never level up and never get new weapons. good luckHow play battlefield 3 and more precisely how not to get killed?
-Assist your friends (give ammo, health)

-Use sniper to attack from far

-I like the support class the most. The guns are powerful and have alot of money.

-For airplanes, dont use the throttle alot. You wont be able to control it. Just allow the plane to guide and use boost when chasing others.

i was like you dude i never played a battlefield before and this catch my attention for th amazaing graphics but i play it and i suck so hard but there were some tips from here and i will tell you the "real" ones



1.-MOST IMPORTANT: the bigger problem is that i didnt see anybody i mean they are there but i dont see them.. but here are too tips for this

a) BACK BUTTTON (360) in ps3 or pc i dont know but SPOT that helps alot

b)theres a nightvision, get it and you will see how everything gets easier



2.-HEAD DOWN, DONT RUN,: i think in large maps battelield its boring if you always twice before cross the street but thats what you have to do....



3.-TEAMWORK without clan or headset its hard but doesn matter that not full teamwork you can have teamwork if you have strategize if you are a sniper stay alife so you team respawn if your assault revive and heal you squad and dont rush, engineer? dont let vehicles had "hurt bad" you team and support well... support



always remeber be pacient everyones gets desesperate when lose often but last two tips

1.- dont blame the game or players, because its pretty cool battlefield 3 again BE PACIENT

2.-when i get desseperate y play 20 minuutes gears 3 aand again battlefield 3 XD try something like that...
