Is Battlefield 3 a good game without online play?

I want a new video game but i dont have xbox live. It would be pointless to get MW3 and some other games. I got sports games so i want a shooting one and one that you can play forever without getting bored. So is battlefield 3 a good game without online play?Is Battlefield 3 a good game without online play?
no.. without online play even mw3 would be better because of spec ops and campaign but mw3's multiplayer sucks.

so if you dont have xbl dont get bf3.. since bf3 only has campaign and multiplayer and the campaign is quite short..

The campaign only lasts about 4~6 hours. There is also a COOP mode but you need to be online to play it...
It would be much better to get MW3 just to play singles and special modes.
Campaign lasts about 7~10 hours and they`re very exciting that you`ll most likely to play them over and over.
Special ops is also very exciting. Lots of missions.
Survival mode is okay... It`s just that there`s no goal to it. The goal is to die.
For both special ops and survival mode, there`s leveling up. You can earn scores by killing enemies and completing challenges.

I personally prefer BF3 if played online, MW3 is great for single player

Can`t you just get a XBox live? Well Christmas is coming up...
